After completing a diploma of collegial studies in insurance with the Cégep de Ste-Foy, in 1995, Jérôme minored in retail and distribution at the HEC Montréal, in 1998. He received the title of CIP from the Insurance Institute of Canada, in 2005.

In 1998, having worked as an insurance broker for three years, Jérôme joined the ranks of Cuierrier & Associés as a claims adjuster, and implemented the Quebec division in 2003.
